- Thank you for having me here. I remember driving home in 1972 with dad in his brand new Javelin SST. Been hooked since! This is my 1971 AMX it was originally a 401 4spd car. I bought it 3 yrs ago and I'm SLOWLY transforming it from a drag strip beast to a touring monster.
