I am the new proud owner of a 1968 AMX. It currently has, what the prior owner called, jr headers. They need replacing--does anyone know where I might obtain these? Are they still made??
Thanks,
jim

"JR" headers is a brand name -although I haven't seen that one for quite a few years. I don't know if they are still produced. If not, there are still quite a few manufacturers who offer headers(both street and race) for AMC's.

Hedman bought JR about 20 years ago ... moved the plant down to GA. and this is now where the Husler race hedders come from ... Order up Hedman number 98310 for black painted or #98316 for the coated ... really, just save yourself the trouble and get the coated, they are worth the extra $$

Edelbrock makes shorty headers and long-tube headers. This may be old news to some of ya but just an fyi they do make F.I. kits and alumanum cylinder heads for AMCs too. :D
