304 ignition timing

All the manuels i have do not give specific numbers for the exact timing or RPM for a 1976 304 with a standard trans. Can anybody help?

I do not know if I can really help you here since I have a 73 AMC 304. According to the label that is on the fire wall, the timing should be set a 5 BTDC at 750 RPM. My RPM is for the manual trans that currently in the car. Dwell and spark gap is yours, because I do not know if the AMC (for sure) had electronic ignition by 76. If yours does have standard points and the such, the dwell is 29-32 and the gap for the plugs is .035
