spring tool

does any one know if garrett jacob is still selling his version of spring tool? the turnbuckle method sounds risky,prefer to find a better way.found rambler dan's diagram on website also.read larry mitchell's am-xtra article from 1990, did one just like he advised not to,cheap spring tools(russian roullette w/automatic weapon)was successfull but not ready to push my luck again!

I bought these and the shop pulling the springs said they couldn't get them to work. They ended up finding an old timer in town that had the factory tool and the springs "came right out".
