That is all I have heard about the sp2p edelbrock, so won't touch them. I have an Air-Gap and I love it. Some people like the R4B compared to the "new" performer intake, but I think that is more personal opinion.

You might want to check Tony's AMC Helpful Hobby Tech Tips page here (http://www.amx-perience.com/TonysTechTips.htm) for AMC intakes and applications. I have a Performer on my 390, it's a good choice for street performance. I'd stay away from the Torker for street use.

Hey Big Bad ,What are your thoughts on the Edelbrock "STR-11" Cross-ram.
Just got one in the box with instructions and linkeage. Never used 37 years old.Has the AMC #'s. My 70 BBgreen Donohue 390 is all stock and just used for shows and back.If Javelin Jeff is reading I'm just thinking.lol.lol.
But would sure like to try it. Just wondering would you go for it???
Appreciate everyones thoughts

The Edelbrock cross ram, to me, is a great looking intake and for a conversation piece it is great. Other than that, I don't know too much about them.

like Tony's chart says, that cross ram is a high RPM manifold, not too good for less than full throttle driving.and of course the cam and exhaust have to match to utilize the flow of that one.but yes it is a good conversation piece.

I have an sp2p on my dodge van with a 318 and it works well for daily driving with more torque than stock and slightly better milage. It is definetly not a high perf intake as it will be maxed out by @ 4500 rpm but for towing or just normal driving the sp2p works.
