Thread: Buffing Dangers

    Default Buffing Dangers

Just a friendly note to those of you who may have reason to use Pedestal type buffers. USE CAUTION!!!

I am always respectful of the buffer but sometimes things go wrong anyway. I was buffing a headlight ring when the buffer grabbed and the rest is history. 4 inside and 8 outside stitches later the wound is closed but surgery tomorrow remains due to a severed tendon.

Yeooowwwouch! I saw the title of the post and thought you were probably going to show a picture of a bad paint burn through.
Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes. I had surgury to repair the tendon and nerve damage. I'll know in another week how well the repair took when I get out of this cast and start rehab.
