1974 Javelin T-Stripe question.

Hello all. New member. I have a 1974 Javelin AMX original owner that I will be having restored next year. Color is Trans Am Red with a fade away T-Stripe. It is Black with either a gray or silver fade. That is what I am trying to figure out is the fade color considered gray or silver.

What I can tell you was that my strip was a solid color, but they might have had a fade. I know some were added after the cars came home as the strips were at an additional cost. Do you have a picture of the strip?

The T stripe was black with a silver fade. I had a n.o.s one on my 73 amx. My hood cracked so I replaced it with a black with gold fade. I liked the silver fade better.
