I purchased this 1969 AMX in March of 1970 upon my return from overseas.  The dealer was Carl Grabb Motors, Shelbyville, Illinois.  It is still in my possession with 98,xxx miles on it.  It is Butternut Beige Metallic with a charcoal interior, 290ci and a 4-speed.  Also has ps and pb.  The picture is from a tv ad for an oil-change company and is a few years old.  Car still looks the same  Car was delivered with wire wheel covers (yes) and E70-14 red letter tires.  I switched immediately.  Presently has Western Bullits and 205/70-14 radials.
