Hey, where the hell did you aquire that grille? I am looking for a new grille for my 73 javelin, and I would like a unique set up for my car. Your grillle, is the first I have seen of that type. Any info you can give me for a new grille will be much appreciated. Awesome car, donsjav, well done.

For 71, this grill is the stock grill for the Javelins. They also used the grill all the way though 74 for the AMX trim package. I have not been able to find a replacement grill for this car since they were only used in 71. This is the original grill for this car. No accidents thankfully since I have owned this car

Kind of like the car. How do the side pipes sound. Your "Tee" stripe is of the original variety. I

had read that these crack. Is it original, or newley painted on, or a new stripe kit? I have heard that they don't sound as good as duals with flowmasters.

The "T" stripe is painted on and thus far no problems of cracking or anything. The sidepipes are actually pretty low on the noise end of it. When you get on it, then they make some noise, but not really bad. The duals with flowmasters will sound better if that is what you want. I put the sidepipes on several years ago and could not afford a new dual exhaust system and these came in at about half of the cost. Besides, I always wanted a car with sidepipes on it since I first saw the Corvettes with them on in the mid 60's. Kind of showing my age doesn't it.
