    Beautiful car. Noticed you also have another in the garage. AMX's are kinda like potato chips, it's hard to have just one. The only thing keeping me from buying a fourth is the divorce papers i'm sure would follow if i did. :-)

    Forgot about that one. We have 3 at home. The one down the street is my sons'. It is a 74 AMX, 304, 3 sp. wild plum.

    Is the stripe/paint original? Firend of mine is getting his painted. Said the T stripe was only done one way for 71 72-74 are different. Gorgeous car!!!

    The T-stripe is a NOS stripe I had. It was still good after

    all these years. You can get reproduction ones at Phoenix

    graphics. Purchased one for my sons 71. Looks just like NOS

    one but have not installed it yet. Supposedly early 71s had

    the stripe go down the front side of the fender and not flare up to a point on the fender. The one I got for my sons 71 is the early 71 type. Phoenix graphics had both types. I had a

    graphics sign shop install the T-stripe. It came out very nice.
