I appreciate your Web page and respect your many years involvement in the AMC hobby! I would like to submit a picture of the two 1970 AMXs I bought this year for you to consider adding to your pictures on the basis of the artistic value of the shot understating the Big message... that I am Crazy about the AMX and Javelin. Anyway regardless of if you have space for my picture I enjoy your very well done webpage which effectively waves the historic AMC flag.
Thank you, Ken Tessier
My 1968 AMX. 390, 4-speed, 3:54 gears, 375 hp on dyno. Paint: Black Sapphire. I have owned this car for 25 years and it has undergone a full restoration. The AMX is a proven show winner with 21 trophies and this picture was taken at a Chevy dealer car show. On this day the AMX brought home the coveted Best Street Machine trophy. This really made all of the Corvettes, Camaros and anything else that was there very angry! Too Bad! Way cool Website! Burn rubber......................Jeff - Gig Harbor, WA
I bought this 1970 AMX in 2001. It needed seat covers. The wheels had to be changed back to the originals, had a fresh engine. New front end, interior was partly done, the body was in good to excellent shape. Chrome is good. I had to buy extra hood trim pieces to replace the old ones. Headliner was done. I also got an extra rear with my package. It was a real steal deal. It's a show car with about 450-500 HP under the hood.

This is an all original 1968 AMX with air, tilt column and a rally pack. I am in the process of redoing some of the interior...

This is my Spidy-MX. 1969 AMX with 390 beefed up engine with all the trimmings. Bought from a guy in Texas and built out of boxes, I assembled this car from top to bottom in 10 months. My custom paint job to celebrate the release of the new movie, with custom web headliner, new carpet, and a Red-backed black widow spider embeded in the acrylic shift knob, have made my muscle car a definate eye catcher. Y B Normal. My fam owns probably 20 AMC cars (father retired from AMC/Chrysler). Love them!!! Hope you like mine.
My 1969 Big Bad Orange AMX.
