Pete Harrison's original Big Bad Blue 1969 AMX. One of only 195 in Big Bad Blue. 390, Go-Pak, Auto, P.S., P.D.B., A/C, Tilt, Light Group, Visibilty Group, Leather seats, AM 8-Track.
This is my 1968 AMX that I purchased about 5 years ago. It is a 390 Go-Pak, automatic. I have previously owned a 1968 Javelin, 343 Automatic and a 1972 Javelin, 360, four speed. My AMX has about 92,000 miles on it, but is still going strong.

This is the one and only 1969 AMX in Spain, and a very fast one.The body was restored and painted by myself in Porsche Red, and the engine has been redone and blueprinted, with some speed parts in it. It's a 343, four-speed,Go-pack,Leather seats, 3.54:1 Twin-grip rearend. You can see the car in my Page: http://www.terra.es/personal/jordiamx
It's just a few pictures, but I will upgrade the page soon.
This is the car that I purchased the interior plastic parts from Tony Z. last year. It is pretty much completed and has been driven daily for one year now 50

Here are some pictures of our 1969 AMX. The Car is Hunter Green, Saddle interior With 390 4 speed. 3.54 posi rear end. The engine is bored .30 over with R4B manifold and Holly 4V. The Car is a SCREAM to drive and it gets a lot of questions like who made the AMX? You have a great web site and thank you for this opportunity to show the world my car. AMX

Here are two photos of my 1969 AMX. It has a 401 with a four speed and Go-Pack. I'm amazed at the many Internet sites where parts are still available. I will be slowly over time, as money allows, restoring the AMX as closely as possible to original condition! I've owned my AMX since 1977. The car runs in the family, as I have an uncle of a 1968 AMX who is the original owner. I'd love to hear from other AMX owners in the Southern California area.

Hey there, I saw your site and thought I might send you a picture of my AMX funny. It's the only one left of three that were built in 1968 (the
other two got wrecked) it went as fast as 7.0's @190 mph in the quarter mile when it was campaigned by the Boggs Brothers as a BB/FC. It had a supercharged, alcohol injected hemi for motivation. I've been considering selling it, but am still unsure about that.
Thanks for a great site!!

Attached is a picture of my 1969 AMX. It is a 390 Automatic with leather interion and A/C. I bought it from Howard Perry in 1999. It is in outsatnding condition and has been shown in several Club shows around the New England area. I drove it to the AMO National Show in Conneticut in July 2000 and got a silver level award in the Non-Stock class.

I am Roger Luksik and I have owned this 1968 AMX for the last eleven years. It is all original, with 21,500 miles on the odometer, 390, go-pak and automatic transmission. I bought it from my brother who owned it for 6 years. He wanted to finish a 1933 DeSoto streetrod and had a Willow Green, 343, 1969 AMX so the 1968 had to go. Several years ago it was chosen to be displayed at the prestigious Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance to honor a co-founder of the event -- AMX designer, Dick Teague. I also own another 1968 AMX that I purchased in 1970. That car has 55,000 miles, 390, stick and is Rally Green wo/stripes. After I finish restoring a 1941 Packard (yeah, Dick designed for them too) convertible I will start begin to restore it. I live in the Detroit area and enjoy meeting all of the AMC design guys -- Vince Geraci, Jim (hard-trim Jim) Alexander, Don Munoz, etc. Hope you enjoy the photos. ---Roger M. Luksik---
